[📌 MY NOTES]

Hope is a feeling many seek, either for a little while or as a true leaning support through life.

Hope is optimistic, hope is good, hope keeps us together and hope creates beautiful and inspiring communities.

I read through Instagram, that Eduardo titled this mural “Tolerance”. But what I felt from where I took this picture from was HOPE.

It is the placement of the mural, the use of color and the image itself that evoke this feeling.

With the Empire State Building in the background, and a mural by Palestinian artist Emily Jacir to the left. Mother T. and Mahatma G. face each other in a burst of color with their palms together and I feel HOPE.

on the side notes: highlighting the “trademarked” white, blue-rimmed cotton sari can also trigger something …. to be continued
