It was a big night in Midtown Miami yesterday, where friends and family gathered to welcome a new upscale Greek restaurant to the neighborhood.
"Skorpios" is named after the Greek private island belonging to the late Aristotle Onassis, and venue to his wedding with Jackie Kennedy.
Chef Erhan Ozkaya who used to run the succesful Mandolin Aegean Bistro in the Design District until 2015 and also opened Wynwood Dinner, has joined the Skorpios team to bring a very well thought menu. It is inspired by Greek, Turkish and Mediterranean cuisines served up in a sleek and modern tavern setting.
Building on Partner's deep knowledge and years of research and travel, the menu emphasizes regional flavors, featuring an abundance of fresh vegetables, seafood, grains and herbs creative cocktails, and unique wines.
