Mathew Harding is an innovative Australian artist and designer engaged in the diverse practice of sculptural art. He’s known for constantly pushing the boundaries of the materials he uses, which include stainless steel, granite, wood and monofilament. Harding is also a recipient of multiple national sculptural awards across Australia, including the McClelland National Sculpture Award. The themes of Harding’s two stainless steel sculptures commissioned for Privé are “enfold” and “enrapture,” and are meant to bring together and enchant the island community through sustainable living.

Gary Cohen is the developer of Island Estates, the south island of the property, which consists of 21 exclusive mansions and a marina. As one of the founding families of Aventura, the Cohen family has been in South Florida land development since the 1960s, resulting in approximately 1,000 acres of land development and planning of high-rise condominiums, multifamily, single family homes, shopping centers, and commercial offices.
