One of the reasons Wynwood has become such an important destination for public art is that artists aren’t limited by the dimensions of a canvas. Entire buildings are becoming the artwork. Public art in Wynwood extends far beyond aesthetics. Murals bring color, personality, and a sense of place to buildings that might otherwise go unnoticed. As more artists contribute to the neighborhood, the streets themselves become part of the experience, attracting visitors, photographers, businesses, and continued investment.
