In the midst of numerous restaurant closures across various Miami neighborhoods, specially in Wynwood. Brickell stands strong, continuously drawing visionary entrepreneurs with promising concepts, despite the challenges posed by soaring prices and rents.

The strategic location of the vacant space once occupied by El Tucan, located on a weird corner in the heart of Brickell, still offers an opportunity for Lafayette Miami to shine. The space itself is an embodiment of versatility. The decision to invest in this space was undoubtedly a wise one. Massa Investment Group, led by Mathieu Massa, made a significant move back in 2009 by acquiring the ground-level space at Axis Brickell at 1111 Southwest First Avenue, encompassing 18,157 square feet of retail space, including the area now occupied by Marion, for a $11.5 million, as per property records.
