Read More"Mimetica" is a large-scale sculpture by Italian contemporary artist Elizabetta Benassi depicting an artificial palm tree. Magazzino explains it is like one of those used to camouflage mobile phone masts within urban and natural landscapes. This camouflage uses natural elements to give a feeling of a real tree, like the fiber for the trunk, while being contrasty mixed with obvious fake plant like materials for the leaves and branches, to give ambiguous feel.
